I am who I choose to be

“This affirmation, for me, is really about agency and expansion. All of my life, I’ve been steadily “me” and over the years and through the story of my personal growth, I’ve come to realize how many iterations of “me” actually exist and that they all deserve to be heard and shine brightly because they are all rooted in Love which is who I am at my core and how I choose to express.

“This affirmation means a reclaiming of who I think I am, and a fortifcation of what I think is my capacity.

There's the community me that Loves and uplifts others, then there's the solitary me that takes time to fortify myself. There exists the reserved and regulated me, and then the not so reserved, boundary pushing me. Previously, my terribly judgemental mind kept certain sides of me hidden out of fear that others may judge who I am incorrectly. Now, who I am is someone who is not afraid being "misidentified" because I am firm that who I am is Love no matter what Im wearing or not wearing, doing or not doing, that there could be no mistaking my intention when relating to myself or others.” - Hawa
