I am confident

“Believing in yourself allows you to view the world through authentic eyes rather than allowing yourself to be defined by the expectations of others. It has taken me 43 years to begin to embrace a sense of confidence associated with my authentic self.

I have become more comfortable within my own skin; as I have stopped comparing myself to others and begun loving the things about myself that make me unique. I have had many experiences over the years that I have allowed to weigh heavily on my ability to trust and believe in myself. As I have gotten older, I have learned to celebrate these experiences as they have made me who I am. I am enough; just the way I am.

Today, I am confident in the person I have become and the direction that I am headed.” - Adriane
